I had a small party for my mother's 96th birthday here last Thursday 22nd May. We all had the daytime menu, which was excellent value at 8 per main course. I had steak, egg, chips and peas, which was cooked to perfection. The waitress was very attentive, including advising the priest on the best low carbon option and dessert for him. The staff had put the banners up, balloons etc and were very patient. For a filling, reasonably priced lunch, I'd recommend here.

Had Louise as our server very polite and helpful seemed very quite for a bank holiday Sunday but started to get busy when we was leaving our table was half 5, we went for unlimited refills you can help yourself but they are quick on getting fresh refills, we both went for the mixed grills the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and meat was cooked perfect chips was chunky and fluffy was really nice meal. Had room for pudding and went for Apple Pie and custard had extra custard which cost me 50p more lol bit was worth, overall really nice meal and good prices, decor seemed dark and possible could do with a referb in my opinion but otherwise 9/10

Nice place to have a meal and spend a few hours with friends and family Warm and welcome. Parking is a premium and, as such, has registration facilities to park your car for up to 3 hours. At which point, you need to re-register it or get a penalty notice. Prices were a bit of a surprise but not too bad. Roughly 20 quid a person for a meal and bottomless soft drinks.

We had a lovely couple of days eating at the Lincoln Beefeater. Our server (for both nights )was James, who looked after us with professionalism whilst also being very personable. He made our stay comfortable and we’d definitely come back. The food was fabulous and priced well. Thanks James - see you again soon

1st time and won't be the last. Made very welcome. One of our party in a wheelchair with no access problems. On a very hot day aircon was lovely and not too cold. Our waitress was so lovely. The food was served fairly quickly (considering the variety we ordered) quality 100% best steak I've ever had. We were celebrating our late mum's birthday and experienced everything she would've loved. Already made plans to return

Called for the festive menu, was a little disappointed that there was no turkey on. We had the sirloin and very pleased we did. Delicious mmmm then profiteroles and hubby had mint Sunday. Wow couldn't eat any more thankyou. Staff very friendly and courteous will definitely come back to Roman Way Newark. Merry Christmas to you all

Good value lunch time menu with lots of choice. Kid's menu also really good and full table service. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
